Seller and owner of this one of a kind Shelby GT 500 Mustang ordered the car
brand new from Toms Ford, Keyport NJ

" I drove the car and showed it off to friends and parked it with 59 miles
on the odometer. I felt the stock suspension to be too soft and the car
leaned too much in corners. It accelerated well but not spectacular, I took
the car apart carefully packaging all removed parts.

I am the owner of a performance shop in NJ ,Bodymotion Inc. I used all of
my 45 years of knowledge and contacts to build a better handling, faster
accelerating GT500I built what I think Ford should have built. It is faster
than a Supersnake ,can out- brake and out- accelerate any Corvette or
Porsche GT3. This car has never seen rain, or snow, it is always under a
cover in a climate controlled garage at my home. It has never been raced,
the interior is all Ford stock except the Carroll Shelby autographed center
console cover.

We were invited in September 2008 by Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford magazine
editor, Evan Smith to a shoot- out at Englishtown NJ Raceway Park dragstrip.
I have never been in front of the starting "christmas tree" I have seen it
but never done it. I tried but could not do better than low 12seconds, I
made three passes, each time I was invited into but refused the invitation
to go thru the dirty bleach water box located before the start line. Evan
asked me what tire pressures I had and he laughed. I had set the car
suspension, shock settings and tire pressures  for road driving, not rapid
starts. He asked if he could adjust my shocks and tire pressures and give it
a try himself. He did two passes one at 10.8 seconds at 130 mph. He said if
it had proper drag tires on the rear it was a mid to low 9 second car. It is
the only time the car has even been on a drag race strip, ever. It is very
fast and loud and gets an oil change once a year, one new battery and a few
seat belt recalls, that's it. I don't drive it any longer and it needs a new
home, it is the fastest car I have ever driven and I have raced Porsches for
35 years including Le Mans and Daytona"
