Adam McInnis, 35, is a Computer Consultant and Music Producing & Recording Engineer.

He has been a member of Jersey Shore Region PCA since 1989. He has served the positions of Treasurer, Vice President and President from 1993 to 1998. He is currently the regions Web master and President.

Adam started doing Drivers Education in 1990 and became addicted to Autocrossing in 1992 in his 1984 911 Targa. Initially Bodymotion installed a complete suspension package of torsion bars and sway bars to stiffen the car for ultimate cornering in 1991. A five point harness and Bodymotion harness bar was installed for both driver and passenger seats. In 1994 the stock rubber bushings were replaced with a harder delrin bushing for better peformance. Then the car was lowered, weight balanced and realigned. In 1998 a 3.4 liter engine was installed (from the 3.6L transplant in Bob Sentivan's 911). A front oil cooler and brake duct system was added. This year turbo brakes were installed on the car to provide the stopping power necessary for the updated engine power on the track. The Fikse FM10's really accent the car as well as give the clearance needed for the bigger brakes and extra rubber for traction with 235/40/ZR17 front and 255/40/ZR17 rear on 8" and 9" rims respectively.

Adam actively autocrosses and is one of NJ's finest autoxer's. Some of his accomplishments are: NNJR PCA: 1992 3rd place (rookie) M6, 1993 2rd place M6, 1994 2nd I6, 1995 1st I6, 1996 1st I6, 1997 2nd I6. NNJR SCCA: 1997 1st in DS (Dodge Neon) and 1st ASP (Porsche 911) and was overall Pax champion (first ever in NNJR history, dubbed the "Triple Crown"). 1998 1st ASP (Porsche 911). SJR SCCA: 1997 1st place in DS (Dodge Neon). M-Club: 1998 Class and Overall Champion in Modifed Class (Porsche 911). NIRA: 1998 "NIRA/Toyo First Overall" champion at Maple Grove, PA.
