John Abruzzo, 56, and Chuck Totaro, 56, are both married with
grown children. John & Chuck owned numerous Porsches including Porsche 356 thru GT1
Race Cars. They both raced and run with SCCA and PCA. Through years of looking for a low
cost alternative to professional racing, they found the answers in a Porsche 944.
They had a complete suspension upgrade, by Bodymotion, to full competition including a
four wheel alignment and weight balancing. John drove the car for the first time at Lime
Rock and after a spectacular last lap pass for lead won the race. The car currently has a
Bodymotion built engine, emphasis on durability rather than performance as this car must
adhere to strict stock rules. Future improvements will come via custom computer dyno
program, which Bodymotion will provide over the winter.
